Thank you for coming in. Overall, your daughter is doing well, but I'd like to discuss a few areas where she can improve.

Her mathematics is on track, but she's below benchmark in writing. She has great ideas but struggles to organise them into structured paragraphs.

Encourage her to read for twenty minutes every day — any books she enjoys. Also, have her write a short journal entry each evening about her day.

Being bilingual is a great asset! Writing in any language helps develop literacy skills. But for school, she'll need to practise in English too.

NAPLAN is in March for Year Three, Five, Seven, and Nine. Your daughter will sit it this year. I'll send home some practice materials next week.

She's a very kind and well-behaved student. She gets along well with her classmates and is always willing to help others. You should be proud.
